Born in Osaka, Japan.
Shinichiro Inui moved to America when he was 18 years old. He received a BFA at the University of Oregon. Upon graduation, he moved back to Osaka. He established the fashion brand ‘Guernika’ in 2012 in order to help promote himself through arts and fashion. He painted a mural at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2014 in commemoration of their 25th anniversary after the fall of the Berlin Wall. He puts two values which have opposite meanings into his artworks and creates contradictions in universal psychology.
