Jaime Maroney Villazon

Jaime Maroney Villazon

Born and raised in Mexico City. Self taught painter.

As a Mexican artist, with a rough childhood, living in very poorly conditions, I managed to come out from all of it by finding myself in art, expressing what’s around me with what’s around me. I’m influenced by beauty within life and common things in daily places, always trying to connect with what’s around me, with the objective of getting into the deepest part of human unconsciousness and trying to make it conscious. Inspired in the beauty within people and dreams, I’m always trying to inspire youths, to help them overcome themselves and their problems, and use them as an advantage to overcome life and find in it a meaning.
