Born in Shimane, Japan.
As a child, Miki Kajita’s grandmother always told her “There are invisible worlds with people in them, so do not infringe on them.” Miki gradually began to think of that as reality and became interested in myths, apparitions and thoughts on ‘life & death.’ Her works are based on her imagination. She doesn’t name her works because she wants the viewer to come up with their own stories. She believes her works live in the minds of the viewers.
Her works were used by VOGUE in their April, 2016 issue.
